Every Man Was Singing 2019 Concert PosterNewstead Brass appears as guests of Eastwood Male Voice Choir as they mark their centenary with brass and 100 massed voices in Every Man was Singing.

Eastwood Collieries Male Voice Choir (ECMVC) will be joined by special guests, Mansfield & District MVC and Pye Hill & District MVC, forming a choir of a hundred voices celebrating a hundred years of song from ECMVC with appropriate contrasting items from Newstead Brass.

The concert is called Every Man Was Singing, which is the title of a new song specially written for the choir’s centenary by Gwyn Arch, a well-known composer and arranger of choral pieces, with words by ECMVC chorister, Mike Tomlinson.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday 15th April and are sure to be in great demand.

  • from choir members at St Mary’s Church, Eastwood between 7pm and 9pm every Tuesday
